In the first part of this session we will take a look at the history of sustainable design from the 1960s to present day. To position sustainability in its historical context, we will briefly touch upon capitalism, the industrial revolution and colonialism.
In the second part of this session we will collaboratively try to define our view on the future of sustainable design (and FERNS), and what path we need to take to get there.
